The Interket Group has taken another step in streamlining the organisation to further increase focus on its core business.
Interket Limited in the UK has today, the 1st August 2023 agreed to sell their UK Stationery & Office Products business to A4 Laser Labels Limited.
“We at Interket UK have, and will continue to have, at the forefront of our consideration, the future and wellbeing of all our Customers and Employees who will follow in this transaction, that over the years have collectively assisted in the success of the Interket business. Moving forward, Interket UK will remain fully focused on its main core business activity of bespoke label solutions continuing to supply On-Roll Plain and Printed Flexo and Digital Labels as well as Bespoke and Printed Sheeted products” says Tim Pattison, Managing Director for Interket UK.
The Stationery & Office market is different compared to the core business of Interket UK and only represents a small and declining part of the group’s turnover. This decision supports the overall strategy and will enable Interket UK to further develop their market presence and provide the best service and solutions to our customers.
“We have previously exited this segment in other countries with positive results and have evaluated different options in the UK. When the opportunity to sell this part of the business to A4 Laser Labels Limited arose it was an easy decision as their production site is located only 3 miles from ours. We are also happy to announce that all 9 employees within this department have chosen to follow on to the new owners” says Carl Parkander, CEO for Interket Group.
